Autumn Construction Services was selected by Performance Services to provide mechanical piping services for the Glenbard North High School Additions and Renovations project located in Carol Stream, Illinois. Autumn will perform mechanical piping work and equipment installation. All mechanical equipment for the project is being furnished by Performance Services.
The scope includes selective demolition of existing HVAC piping and the furnishing and installation of new hot water, chilled water, refrigerant, condensate drain, and gas piping systems serving the new addition, interior renovations, rooftop unit replacements, and existing VAV box modifications. Work includes piping connections to new and existing HVAC equipment, installation of control valves furnished by others, and associated piping required for a complete and operational system. Gas piping services include disconnections, installation of new piping, gas cocks, and regulators.
Autumn’s work also includes replacement of hot water piping and control valves serving existing VAV boxes, along with required piping modifications to support upgraded controls. Additional scope includes system flushing, filling, chemical treatment, and providing coordination drawings necessary to support installation and project phasing.
All work will be coordinated with Performance Services and performed in accordance with the project phasing plan, schedule requirements, and site coordination procedures.
